When Stress Hits

Guess what!?  This morning I was feeling SUPER STRESSED about finances.  I know, we all go through this from time to time.  However, how we deal with it makes a HUGE difference.  What did I do?

  1. Ate breakfast & had a cup of coffee.  (You can’t think straight on an empty stomach!)
  2. Review / adjusted budget.  (I use Mint in addition to a spreadsheet I keep.)
  3. Spent an hour looking up positive quotes.

Result?

I feel so happy right now!!!  I have a plan in place.  I know what to do.  Yes, I still have to stick to a budget for a while and I can’t have as many “splurges” as I’d like, but my bills will be paid, my debt will be lowered, and I will be less stressed in the long run.
