Peach season is just around the corner! In honor of the pretty peaches, I’ve created a yummy smoothie recipe with the peach as the star.
Here are the quantities and some of the health benefits for each ingredient:
- 1 Peach – using a sharp knife, hold the peach on a cutting board and start to cut the peach in half until you hit the pit. Move the peach and knife so that you continue the cut around the circumference of the fruit. Grasp the fruit “halves” and twist until one half is dislodged from the pit. Cut up that piece and add to your blender cup. Cut the remaining half into quarters around the pit, then twist off one quarter. Finally, cut into the remaining quarter just below the pit to remove it.
